The first two posts of Rufus actually are photos of the little guy at the bottom with rose pedal ears. We initially picked him from the litter due to his resemblance to Angelo (his daddy, what we call a “calendar frenchy”). When we got to meet and spend time with all the little guys in the litter, the one in the middle actually turned out to be the real dead-ringer for Angelo. So much so that we and the breeder were calling him “Mini-Angelo” all afternoon.

While it took all afternoon and a serious debate to decide, we ultimately chose the sad little guy in the middle to be our Rufus. His sweet little smoosh face is also seen in the top right photo. If only money grew on trees and we would have taken home all 5… Or at least our two favorites.
